Family Focus - FUMC has a basic focus on Christ within family relationships. Programs and events include studies on marriage, parenting and divorce recovery.
My Christian Home Month - Each fall the church designates a month as "My Christian Home Month." During that month the church focusses on how to live out God's plan in the home.
First Family Fest - Each fall the church gathers for a carnival-style event in late October. Children are encouraged to come dressed in costume and participate in games, go on a hayride, and be part of the cookie walk. It is a safe, Bible-based alternative to Halloween activities.
Children's Christmas Eve Service - This Christmas service is designed especially for families with young children. Held in the Sanctuary at 4:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve, the service focuses on the telling of the Christmas story, singing traditional Christmas carols, a candle-lighting ceremony, and an appearance by Baby Jesus.
Advent Workshop - Christmas is a wonderful time of year to focus on Jesus - the real meaning of the holiday. At the Advent Workshop, the family gathers to create Christmas crafts and participate in Christmas activities that are Bible-based to tell the story of the coming of Christ.
Family Missions Trips - This is a time when families come together to serve those in need in other communities.
