Meet Our Nursery Team

Welcome to the nursery! We are excited to have your child(ren) with us. We invite you to meet our nursery team and read the guidelines and policies that we follow to ensure your child's health and safety in the nursery while they are in our care and learning more about God's love.

 

Carly Garcia

Hi, I am Carly Garcia! I just graduated from Tyler Junior College with my Associates Degree in Art and I now attend Stephen F. Austin State University majoring in Education. I am a Pre-Kindergarten teacher at Jordan Country Day School. Some of y’all also may know me from Lakeview Church Camp where I work as a program specialist during the summer!

Rachel Geist

My name is Rachel Geist, and I joined the FUMC Staff as the Administrative Assistant for Program Ministries in June of 2011 and have been supporting Children and Youth Ministries, among several others, ever since.

 

Megan Medrano

My name is Megan Medrano and I am a mother of two beautiful girls. I also work in the infant nursery at School for Little Children.

 

Courtney Conway

My name is Courtney Conway, and I grew up in FUMC, and began working in the nursery in 2004 during my freshman year of high school. I enjoy getting to spend time with all of the kids in the nursery and loving on them and their families.

 

 

Alexandra Sims

Hi, my name is Alexandra Sims but I go by Ally. I am a student at the University of Texas at Tyler, and my major is education. I also work for Residential Life and Housing at Tyler Junior College as a Resident Director of one of the resident halls. I have had almost 2 years of nursery experience.

 

Ashley Sims

Hello! My name is Ashley Sims. I attend Tyler Junior College majoring in Kinesiology. I am an Apache Belle. I have worked in nursery for 2 years and love kids.

 

 

Sherel Conklin

Hello! My name is Sherel Conklin. I work for School For Little Children and in the FUMC Nursery. I have worked in the church nursery since 1977 - 43 years!
