Sundays
We welcome all children on Sunday mornings!
WORSHIP- There are many ways kids to not only come to worship but be a part of worship! From acolyte to scripture reading, greeting to serving communion, singing as part of our children’s choir, or joining us for Children’s Moment at 8:30 am Contemporary and 10:45 am Traditional services,
The NURSERY is available from 8 am - Noon and every child is treated with love and care, or simply enjoying the love and hands-on lesson in the Nursery during all services, there is something for all children!
SUNDAY SCHOOL is available for our 4 year-olds - 3rd graders on the second floor in the Kids’ Wing. Our greeters at the Welcome Tables will be glad to show you how to sign in and find the right room.
We love our Nursery family!
We love sharing the heart of Jesus with our littlest members and guests! Every child is welcomed to the nursery with compassion and care. During each service, children receive a short lesson just for them, and do a hands-on activity based on that Bible story. Together we sing, dance, play, do art, read books and LAUGH!
Our nursery is open to all children ages infant - 5 years from 8 am - Noon on Sundays and as needed on Wednesday evenings.
Wednesdays are special.
On Wednesdays we continue to share that every child is a Child of God!
From 5:30 - 7 pm, children ages 4 years to 3rd Grade are invited for:
Our Kidz Connect Choir, Dinner
A Biblical Lesson for their age
Activities based on the Bible story
Play on the playground or gym to connect with each other and deepen their friendships!
Beyond our weekly activities, we have many special events and outings, all strengthening our children’s great love for God, each other, and the world!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Each year during June we host a VBS for all children to learn more about God’s love.
OUTINGS
We’ve ventured to the local splash pad, aquarium, trampoline park and more! Be sure to sign up for our Kids Email to stay in the news about all things Children’s Ministry
SPECIAL EVENTS
Throughout the year, special events have a emphasis on welcoming our children! From the Children’s Christmas Eve Service, to the Easter Eggstravaganza, to Fall Fest, and more, there are so many ways for Children to Celebrate with the church at FUMC Longview!
